A premiere mountain bike park, trail riding destination and outdoor recreation center.

The City of Colorado Springs is considering plans to potentially construct a world-class mountain bike park and multi-use recreation center on the reclaimed Pikeview Quarry site, pending approval by engineers and donation of the 100-acre parcel to the City.

The City of Colorado Springs partnered with FlowRide Concepts, a Colorado-based consultant, to design preliminary plans for the bike park. The City indicated that these preliminary plans were created in 2017 and received initial approval by the City in 2018.

The elevation change for the proposed bike park is 700-800 vertical feet, with a southern exposure – ideal for an Olympic City training center site. It is estimated that the bike park could be used for ten months out of each year.

The multi-use plan may include the following features:

Slalom track

Kids' Pump Track & Learning Center
